Greater Pueblo Chamber of Commerce 99th Annual Meeting & Citizen of the Year Presentation
The Greater Pueblo Chamber of Commerce 99th Annual Meeting and Dinner will be held Thursday, January 21, 2010, at the Sangre de Cristo Arts & Conference Center.
The event will begin at 5:30pm with a social hour and silent auction featuring a golf package, Colorado sporting event tickets, a ski package, wine package, family entertainment package, dinner for two each month for a year, a spa package and much more. Dinner will begin at 6pm followed by the “Citizen of the Year” and “Ambassador of the Year” award presentations. The evening will culminate with a private showing of the “Song of Pueblo” in the Arts Center Theater. Music and history are combined in a live and intimate performance. During the Annual Meeting the Greater Pueblo Chamber of Commerce will present the “Citizen of the Year” award. This award is given to an individual that has made a substantial impact on the Pueblo community. Past recipients include Francis King, Robert Jackson, Harold Mabie, Helen Thatcher White, Louise Keach, Walt Bassett, Jerry Robbe, Tony Fortino, Maggie Divelbiss, Dave Cardinal, Frank & Marie Barkman, Tommy Thompson, Bob Rawlings, Ray Aguilera, Pat Kelly, Malik Hasan, Fay Kastelic, Dave Feamster, Chris Weaver, Brett Kelly, Mahlon “Butch” White, Ruth Steele, Dr. Jarvis & Mary Jo Ryals, Paulette Stuart, Gene Wilcoxson, Louis Carleo, Dr. Eddie DeRose and Keith Swerdfeger.
The Pueblo Chamber will also honor the Chamber’s “Ambassador of the Year.” The Ambassadors are a group of loaned executives who volunteer for the community and aim to make Pueblo a great place to live, visit and conduct business.
