Spring Membership Drive

Invest in Your Business by Investing in Your Chamber!

Did you know your Chamber of Commerce is what makes Pueblo thrive - both business and community alike?

The Greater Pueblo Chamber offers beneficial networking opportunities such as Business After Hours and Business During Lunch.  People really do obtain new customers and clients from these events!

The Chamber offers free advertising to new and existing members such as postings in our community calendar, which gets hundreds of online views each month (and the press really does look at our calendar for story ideas!). The Chamber also hosts ribbon cuttings and grand openings for just about any occasion showcasing your business or organization to more than 1,900 individual members.

Because the world is ever-changing, the Chamber offers free monthly seminars covering everything from marketing your business to managing your stress. The Chamber also brings the businesses community together for Southeastern Colorado's largest B2B Expo. And don't forget the Annual Loaf 'N Jug Chile & Frijoles Festival which generates tourism dollars benefiting all of Pueblo.

Now, after all this there still might be some of you who believe the Greater Pueblo Chamber of Commerce doesn't benefit you directly.  However, your Chamber is your voice at the legislature every year, and your President/CEO, Rod Slyhoff is on the legislative floor testifying for issues that benefit Pueblo as a community. The Chamber holds monthly Legislative Breakfasts, where our members are invited to come and listen to and ask questions of our legislators.

The Chamber also serves as Pueblo's tourism and convention bureau, to which the Chamber works closely with the hotels and attractions to bring in conventions and events that boost Pueblo's economy. These include events such as the Little Britches Rodeo which has an estimated $10.5 million economic impact on the community as well as the Rocky Mountain Street Rod Nationals which generates an estimated $2 million for a weekend.

The Chamber also works with local attractions to promote Pueblo as a tourism destination, so that on any given weekend you can save your gas money and find something for you and your family to do right here in town.

With all these great benefits, why wouldn't a business take advantage of all the benefits the Chamber has to offer? This is the perfect time talk to your colleagues and business contacts about joining your Greater Pueblo Chamber of Commerce as we gear up for our Spring Membership Drive.  We exist because of our loyal members, and our goal for this drive is 60 new members.

Approximately 40 ambassadors will be calling and conducting personal visits to new prospects.  If you know someone who is not receiving the benefits you are, please call the Greater Pueblo Chamber at 719-542-1705.
